Plagiarism

Plagiarism is a serious ethical breach and is not tolerated. Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, images, or data from other sources, including one's previous publications, without proper attribution. To uphold originality, all submitted manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools (such as Turnitin). Manuscripts with a similarity score exceeding 15% may be rejected.

  • All data presented in manuscripts must be original and not manipulated or fabricated. This includes:
  • Excluding data points to skew results,
  • Fabricating data,
  • Selecting only results that support a particular conclusion while ignoring contradictory data,
  • Choosing specific analytical methods or tools to achieve a desired outcome (including p-hacking).

We strongly encourage the preregistration of methods and analyses to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
