Copyright And License

The intellectual property rights in work(s) published in the DOE belong to the author(s) of the article following the rules of the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-commercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). The writers of the articles have unfettered copyright. As long as the original authors of the work are correctly credited, anyone may read, download, print, copy, search, crawl for indexing, link to the entire text, transform, pass as data into the software, and redistribute articles for any legal purpose in any media without first obtaining permission from DOE or the author(s).

DOE is granted a non-exclusive license to publish the material and identify as its original publisher. Authors agree to submit their work to DOE, acknowledging the rights of readers and allowing any third party to use it as long as it complies with the license. The work may only be used for non-commercial purposes if the author is properly credited.
