Publication Ethics
DOE is committed to maintaining the level of integrity in the articles published. In addressing all facets of publishing ethics—specifically, how to handle research and publication misconduct—DOE follows the rules set by the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE). Publication ethics are a crucial topic that requires thorough explanation to raise the global research standard. DOE may use software to detect plagiarism and screen the submission. The (COPE) rules will be adhered to If plagiarism is detected.
Ethical Guidelines for Authors
1. The authors must guarantee the manuscript's originality. DOE does not accept Manuscripts that have already been published or are being considered for publication elsewhere.
2. If your manuscript is based on research involving human subjects (individuals, samples, or data), kindly add a statement in your paper that includes the name of the ethics committee and, if available, reference/permit numbers.
3. Authors should disclose any competing interests in the manuscript to declare any interest—financial or otherwise—that you may have concerning direct applications of your study. Please indicate in the manuscript if there are no relevant competing interests to declare. For example: "the authors report no competing interests to declare."
4. Authors should supply all details of funding required by your funding and grant-awarding bodies as follows: “This work was supported by the [Funding Agency] under Grant [number xxxx]”or if the manuscript did not receive funding from any institution: “No funding was received for conducting this study”.
5. Authors are required to make sure that there is no plagiarism in their manuscripts. Authors should ensure their manuscript's similarity index is no higher than 15%.
6. It is the author's responsibility to promptly inform the journal editor or publisher of any substantial errors or inaccuracies found in their own published work and to work with the editor to retract or fix the manuscript.
Ethical Duties for Editors and Reviewers
1. Editors and Reviewers evaluating and selecting submitted manuscripts must adhere to COPE guidelines.
2. Editors and reviewers consider only the intellectual content of articles at all times, ignoring the writers' political ideology, ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, or race.
3. The academic merits of the submitted manuscripts—such as originality, novelty, scientific accuracy, and readability—as well as their applicability to the focus and scope of DOE, will be evaluated by editors and reviewers.
4. The Editors and Reviewers should be involved in the peer review process and help the authors enhance the article's impact.
5. The Editors and Reviewers need to support the publication of excellent pieces with a worldwide readership.
6. Editors and Reviewers should decline to participate in submission when they Recently have a publication associated with the current submission author, shared an affiliation with an author, or are Closely related to the author.
