Author Guidelines
Please carefully read the following submission guidelines before submitting your manuscript.
General Requirements
The minimum requirements for manuscripts submitted to Pengabdian Inovasi Sains (PISA) are as follows:
- Manuscripts must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
- Manuscripts must be between 8 and 25 pages. Manuscripts exceeding this limit may be considered at the editors’ discretion.
- Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
- References must follow the IEEE citation style.
- The manuscript must include the title, author name(s), affiliation(s), address, and an abstract of 200–250 words.
- For manuscripts written in Bahasa Indonesia, the abstract must be provided in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. For manuscripts written in English, the abstract should be written in English only.
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system:
https://journal.fiadmed.org/index.php/pisa/about/submissions - Authors must use the official PISA manuscript template.
- Authors will be notified of the review results within approximately 30 days after submission.
Structure of the Manuscript
Introduction
The introduction should present the background of the community issue, the problem being addressed, and relevant previous studies (state of the art). It should clearly describe the contribution and significance of the work. The purpose of the study or activity should be stated at the end of the section.
Method
This section describes the approach, methods, or strategies used in implementing the community service activity. It should be clear, structured, and appropriate to address the identified problem.
Results
This section presents the outcomes of the implementation or activity. The findings should be supported by sufficient data, observations, or evidence.
Discussion
This section interprets the results and explains their significance, impact, and implications. It should discuss why the outcomes occurred, compare them with relevant previous studies, and highlight the contribution of the work.
Conclusion
The conclusion summarizes the main findings and their relevance to the objectives of the study or activity. It should not repeat the results but highlight key contributions. Suggestions for future work may also be included.
References
All references cited in the manuscript must be listed in the reference section. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools to ensure consistency.
References should follow the required citation style and consist of at least 80% primary sources (e.g., journal articles, proceedings, research reports, patents, standards, and scholarly books) and a maximum of 20% secondary sources (e.g., textbooks and reliable websites). References should preferably be from publications within the last five years.
