Plagiarism

Pengabdian Inovasi Sains (PISA) upholds strict ethical standards in scholarly publishing and does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works and must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplication, and improper citation. All sources of information, data, and ideas taken from other works must be properly cited in accordance with academic standards.

To ensure the originality of submissions, all manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software prior to the review process. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 25% may be returned to the authors for correction and resubmission. However, manuscripts found to contain serious plagiarism, unethical duplication, or improper use of others’ work may be rejected immediately.

If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with publication ethics guidelines.

PISA follows international publication ethics standards and encourages authors to adhere to responsible research and writing practices to maintain the integrity and credibility of scholarly communication.
