About the Journal
Pengabdian Inovasi Sains (PISA) is an open access peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing rigorous, impact-oriented, and interdisciplinary scholarship in the field of community engagement and service. The journal serves as a platform for academics, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate the results of community-based initiatives, applied research, and innovative practices that contribute to societal development and empowerment.
The journal embraces a broad and integrative perspective by incorporating diverse disciplines, including social sciences, economics, humanities, education, religious studies, law, culture, science and technology, health sciences, and environmental studies. Through this multidisciplinary approach, PISA encourages collaboration and knowledge exchange to address complex real-world challenges faced by communities at local, national, and global levels.
PISA publishes high-quality articles that emphasize practical implementation, stakeholder engagement, and measurable impact. The scope includes, but is not limited to, technology transfer, capacity building, community empowerment, sustainable development initiatives, and the application of appropriate technologies to improve quality of life. By fostering innovation and evidence-based practices, the journal aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and community needs.
This journal publishes articles 2 issues every year (June and December). Accepted papers are in Bahasa Indonesia or English. We welcome other language articles, subject to translation cost prior to publication acceptance.
